Most of us have seen gnomes in one form or another our entire lives. They’ve been on the planet longer than French Poodles and aren’t nearly as annoying. Yet, Gnomads belong to a whole new generation of gnomes.
Gnomads Were Born to Travel!
Gnomads think that staying in one place for too long is strictly for the birds, so they are a great way for anyone, young or old, to travel around the world, from the comfort of their homes, without ever having to change out of their pajamas or brush their teeth. On second thought, go ahead and stay in your pajamas, but be sure to brush and floss daily.
Gnomads Love Posing for the Camera
Gnomads are an amazing way to chronicle life’s adventures. If you decide that your Gnomad gets squeamish flying, keep it around the house, or bring it to school, work, a baseball game, or your Aunt Rita’s eighty-sixth birthday party. Great photo opportunities are everywhere you look!
Gnomads Are Very Sociable
Gnomads enjoy meeting others, but they need your help to send them on an adventure, or share what they have been up to in the Gnomad Nation forum. It’s the perfect place to brag if your Gnomad has been to the top of Mt. Everest, just returned from a hundred city tour of Europe, or have been to see the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota. There’s never been a better way for you or your Gnomad to make new friends around the world!
Gnomads Are Full of Personality
Each Gnomad is truely unique, because you make them that way. You give them a nickname and all sorts of personal characteristics. Do they like to sleep until noon? Have a favorite soap opera? Get carsick unless they ride in the glove compartment? Are they allergic to shellfish? You decide. Each new Gnomad you buy is a blank slate waiting for you to have fun with!
Sounds Great, Tell Me More
How Do Gnomads Work with the Website?
There's a tracking number on the foot of each Gnomad that’s linked to a unique journal page. Anyone who comes in contact with your Gnomad can then post fun photos and write entries about the adventures its having. If you decide to keep your Gnomad local, you can still chronicle your Gnomad’s adventures and share them with the world.
When you are ready to register a Gnomad that you have been sent, purchased or found, simply enter its tracking number in the middle of the Gnomads.net Home page, or click the "Register a Gnomad" link at the top of most pages.
Where Can I See More of These Traveling Gnomads?
If you’d like to see the world of gnomads in motion, just visit the Gnomad Search area, where you can check out some of the Gnomads that are currently traveling around the globe. You can see which ones come from your state, find the ones that have the same name as your dog, or which ones like watching the same television shows as you. You can see photos of where they’ve visited, read about the adventures they’ve had, and see where they’d like to go next.
Where Can I Buy A Gnomad of My Own?
Gnomads are available at toy stores and other retailers throughout the United States, and through a number of online retailers. Visit the Buy a Gnomad area to find a retailer near you.
Have Fun...
Next to traveling, there's nothing a Gnomad loves more than having fun! Once you enter the world of Gnomads, you will too. So what are you waiting for?
